Akin, Vong Vai Kin
Animation Lecturer
Akin,Vong Vai Kin was born in Macau. He moved to Hong Kong in 1991.
As an illustrator, Akin has worked with both the traditional media and the new media of digital imaging, animation and Lighting design.

He has been awarded first and second prize of the painting section, and first prize of the sculpture section, in the Philippe Charriol Foundation modern art competition.
His paintings have been awarded finalists in the Hong Kong Art Biennale. His animation has won the first prize in RTHK’s 8 beat Animation Award.
IFVA The 9th Hong Kong Independent Short Film & Video Awards 2003, Distinguished Award ,Cut & Paste Digital design tournament 2009 3D Design Winner.
He has also won several study and research scholarships to Europe and the US.
2011 Ten outstanding designers awards in Hong Kong.
